<title>Work night tonight</title>
<link>http://www.gvbmx.com/postnuke/html/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=125</link>
<description>GVBMX'rs

I know everybody is getting excited for the big
races this weekend!

If you have some time tonight (Friday July 30th)
we would love to have your help! We are planning a
park/track cleanup from 6pm to ?? AND Rob (the
man!!) got us a big roller from ABC to smooth out
the track. We definitely need some help moving
around dirt to fill in some holes and fix up that
first big jump. The more hands the easier the
work... So come help! Wheel barrels needed if you
can bring one. Or a 4wheeler with a nice cart??
Dreaming!

Race schedule if you forgot...

July 31 - Earned Double Point.
Registration: 3-4 PM
$20.00 Race Fee

August 1 - State Qualifier.
Registration: 9-10 AM
$25.00 Race Fee

Be there or be square... (hey i am a product of
the 80's!)

ALSO... Special thanks to Meesh and Carol.... and
everybody else who participated... For raising the
needed money for a double point Race for Life next
year. And also for making a HUGE push for trophy
sponsors. GVBMX is a total volunteer organization
and without great people like all of you we would
not have the great park and club that we do!

AND... Don't forget about the Sweet Pea parade
next weekend. GVBMX will be riding in it again.
I will send out more info when i have it.

Cheers and hope to see you tonight and all
weekend!

<description>Just want to remind you -- and perhaps let some of you know for the first time -- that athlete pictures are posted and sorted by rider name. No longer do you need to sort through hundreds of pictures to find the ones you are looking for -- just click on your name from an alphabetical list at www.idealphotography.biz . Start by clicking on &quot;view photos online,&quot; and then go to the latest BMX event. The latest event will have all the previous pictures also.

We have decided to go ahead and have the race tomorrow evening so plan to be at the track all day!

Racing tomorrow evening 6 - 6:30 Signup.

Also a special thanks to Rob, Kevin, John D, Derick, Mason, Troy, Bill, Doug, Logan, Casie, Jamie, Scott, John T, Hunter, Luke, Rahm, Jaemon, Talia and ABC and Cat Rental (and i'm sure others that i am spacing right now!!!!) for the work they did on the track this weekend. There is a new track watering system. awesome new first jump that Derick built, newly located and painted motoboard, weeding of the whole park, Jamie and the girls painted everything, rolling of the whole track a few times... and all kinds of great volunteer work on the track and park! Awesome job!!! If you do Supercamp you get to be the first to learn the new jump and feel the awesome track.

Also just to make this even longer... The Tour de Bozeman is next weekend. They are looking for volunteers if anybody is interested in helping out. We did it last year and it was pretty cool.

Happy Biking!

<title>Track rebuild and Supercamp update</title>
<link>http://www.gvbmx.com/postnuke/html/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=117</link>
<description>GVBMX'rs,

2 updates...

We are doing a track rebuild this weekend (big
equipment is already at the track!) and could use
help from anybody who is around. Saturday July
3rd (tomorrow!) we will be starting at around
noon. In addition to working the dirt we are
planning to mow, weed eat the area, fix the fence,
pick up garbage, fix the hoses, lay water lines
and anything else people will come and help do.
If you have a weed eater please bring it... We
have one but there is a lot to be done. We will
also be at the track Sunday and Monday all day so
if Saturday does not work come anytime for how
ever long you can. We need the help!

Also there has been a small change in Supercamp...
Apologies for the late notice we just found out!
Berlin and the Supercamp Crew will be here the 6th
and 7th (9am to 4 or later!). Supercamp was
originally schedules for 3 shorter days but the 2
day format is actually what they have always done
in the past. Be at the track before 9am to get
all your paperwork filled out. Don't forget some
water and a sack lunch! Please let me know if you
have any questions about Supercamp. It is an
amazing camp and Berlin brings in some amazing pro
riders that love working with the kids (and
adults!). Your kids will have a blast and will
get to know people they are reading about in the
BMX'r.

Please come help this weekend... There will be no
races Saturday. Also the track is a great place
to watch the fireworks on Sunday (4th!)... we are
planning to pull out the BBQ so bring the family
and some food and you are welcome to use the BBQ.

Sunday Double Point Race For Life (6-27-10)

Pick up a donation form at the Moto shed.

As always we could use some donations for the a
raffle. If you want to promote your business AND
help out the GVBMX club please think about
donating something for the raffle. Bring to the
track or let me know where to pick it up.

Also we are looking for Trophy Sponsors for the

One more thing... We had some bad weather the
weekend of the Wyatt Charity race and decided to
postpone that race till we could get more people

stuff set aside for a big raffle and all the
proceeds from that race will go to Wyatt and his
family! Please let us know how you can help.

<title>Wyatt Welch Race and Memorial Weekend Race</title>
<link>http://www.gvbmx.com/postnuke/html/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=109</link>
<description>GVBMX'rs,

Just wanted everybody to know that this weekend (Memorial Weekend) we are having races all weekend for the people who will be around. We are planning to have single point races both Saturday and Sunday. Registration time will be 5 to 6pm. $5 per class OR season passes will be valid.

We also are having a Wyatt Welch Fundraiser race on Monday (Memorial Day) evening. Registration is 5 to 6pm. There is a $10 race fee per class for all riders. Bill worked it out with the ABA and all race fees go to Wyatt and his family to help them though this difficult time. Please come race and support Wyatt! Also we are looking for some raffle prizes... Please let me know if you can bring something for the raffle. Again all money made from the raffle will go to Wyatt and his family. http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/wyattwelch/

FYI last years Memorial race had over 80 riders so hopefully we can get a big crowd again and really help out the Welch family!

Thanks,
